Day 20 of Honesty, Music is good for the soul.

It only takes me a year to put myself back in rotation. Lately I’ve been feeling unsettled with work and my career choices. Currently I’m in homeless services. It’s great that I provide services but under the my direct supervision, they want me to do things I just can’t do. 

The problem with New York city is that we are in housing crisis. Yet, we are one of few cities that still has a great job market. Although the market is great, the housing market isn’t affordable. Most of the population make from $8.00 – $10.00 an hour. Room rentals are from $650-$900 a month. It would leave most of the individuals within the that bracket penny’s to eat! 

I just can’t do it anymore. My level of advocacy isn’t as great as I’d like it to be. I would continue this but before you know it, they probably shut down this blog.
