Day 24 of Honesty

Elders,

When a person shows you who they are, believe them.

Maya Angelou said it best!

Never beat yourself up about something you decided to put thought into. You are human! It’s in our nature to find acceptance in the ‘unacceptable’.

We are built off of the perceptions of what things are suppose to be. Look at your elders, they can teach you a thing are two!

This past week, I made sure I listened to my elders. They taught me things that didn’t seem like a reality to me. I found out, that point of view is necessary in any situation.

Day 23 of Honesty

Currently:

I’m having my regular morning cup of tea in the dining room of my house, trying to figure out if I want to be in Brooklyn today.

Trying to not ask God, why am I learning some of the lesson that I have been learning lately. 


Listening to Alicia Keys – You don’t know my name. 


Needing my eyebrows threaded and I want to buy my favorite nail polish “My Vampire is Buff”.


Contemplating what’s for lunch.
